Our regular Sunday service is a Sung Mass & Sermon, lasting about an hour. We worship in the great tradition of Anglican Catholicism. This means in part that we strive for “the beauty of holiness”, and that our worship is assisted by lots of singing, and the use of candles and incense. The Holy Eucharist (the mass) is the center of our worship life. In the Eucharist we believe that Jesus really and truly comes among us, and there we welcome and worship him.
Our regular weekday worship consists of the recitation of the Daily Office, and a daily Low Mass and homily. Our daily services last about 40 minutes. They have a quiet, meditative, and prayerful atmosphere, particularly our Wednesday and Friday evening services. The homilies are generally taken from the writings of the Church Fathers and other Catholic saints. On Tuesdays the mass is accompanied by the sacrament of the anointing of the sick.
A priest is normally available for counsel, direction, private prayer, and the sacrament of Confession, after mass on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, or by appointment.
You don’t have to be an Anglican or even a Christian to worship at our services. All are welcome. All that we ask is that you have an open heart and an open mind. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us.
